Six engagements we offer. Each is quoted as a defined piece of work, so you know the cost and the deliverable before it starts.
Engagements
Business systems review
We inventory the systems your business already runs on — accounting, job management, scheduling, payroll, the shared drive — and map where data is re-keyed by hand between them. You get a picture of what you pay for, what overlaps, and what nobody uses.
Output: written review and priority list
Process design and documentation
We follow a job from enquiry through to payment and write the process down as it actually runs. The result is a set of procedures a new starter can work from, which also makes leave and handover far less disruptive.
Output: editable procedure set
Management reporting
A short monthly report built from data you already capture: margin by job or product, labour recovery, debtor days, and whatever else genuinely drives your decisions. Built once, then handed over so your team can run it.
Output: monthly report pack and method
Software selection support
We write the requirements brief, run the shortlist and sit in on demonstrations with you, asking the questions a vendor would rather avoid. We take no commission from any provider on the list.
Output: requirements brief and shortlist
Records and information readiness
A practical tidy-up of where business records live, who can reach them, and how long they are kept — covering file structure, access on staff departure, and backup that has actually been tested by restoring from it.
Output: records map and retention schedule
Ongoing advisory
For businesses part-way through a change, a standing session each month to review what moved, unblock what didn't, and keep the priority list honest. Month to month, with no minimum term.
Output: monthly session and action notes
Scope and cost
Priced as a piece of work, not an open meter
After the scoping call we send a short proposal naming the deliverable, the access we need from your team, and a fixed fee. If the work turns out to be smaller than we thought, the fee comes down.
Engagements can be delivered on site around Geelong and regional Victoria, or remotely where the work suits it. Most reviews need a day or two on site to be worth anything.
Fixed fee agreed before work begins
Deliverables handed over in editable formats
No vendor commissions or referral fees
No minimum term on ongoing advisory

Not sure which one you need?
Describe the symptom rather than the solution — most people book a review and find the real problem sits somewhere else.
